We provide all our clients with an estimated time frame for service. On average, clients are usually with us from 3 to 6 months. However, this is not saying all items will be removed in that time frame or that items will be removed at all. This is just the usual time frame people choose to utilize our services. We work to achieve all results as fast as possible.
The answer is simple, because the credit bureaus say so. Unfortunately, there is wording in the law to require you to give them information. If you don’t supply the proof of your identity and address, the bureaus will simply ignore your dispute and you will get nowhere. A copy of your Drivers License or State I.D. or Passport will work, along with a copy your Social Security Card when mailing out your personalized dispute letters.
As much as I would like to, there is simply no way to know the answer to this question. There are far too many factors involved in the credit scoring model; the biggest variable being the “human factor”. We don’t know what you are going to do during this process. You might get new late payments, max out credit cards, get new inquiries, get new credit, get new collections, get a judgment placed against you, or one of hundreds of other things that would change the outcome of your service. REMEMBER! Credit Girl PLUSS is hired only to help remove items from your report that you wish us to work on, the score change is simply a byproduct of our service.
We must make it very clear, CREDIT GIRL PLUSS does not give any type of loans or financing. Therefore, we can not tell you if you will be approved for any of those things. Many people come to us with very poor credit and hope to be approved for loans or funding programs with very strict financing guidelines. Remember from above, if we cannot promise you ANY item is going to be removed from your report, how could we possibly assure you that you will be approved for a loan after working with our program? We are here to help you and we do help scores of people but please do not expect miracles.
Short and sweet…NO. We want this service done as fast as possible. We would love for there to be a legal way to make things “disappear” in seven days. However, it just doesn’t exist. Now for a little more detail…From the time the credit bureaus receive your dispute, they have 30 days to respond. What trips up a lot of people is the fact that they do not have to count weekends or holidays in those 30 days. This leads to the bureaus often taking longer than some people expect and leading people to believe that if it has been more than 30 calendar days, then they MUST remove those items. This is simply not the way it works.
Yes. Each of the three bureaus will send you a copy of the updated changes made to your credit profile within 30 days. ***Results will start to appear within 30 days.
You can sign up for an online 3-in-1 credit report at www.privacyguard.com and provide us your user name, password and last 4 of your ssn. We can then log in to access a copy of the report or you can format your report into a pdf form and email them to us at firstname.lastname@example.org
We can challenge up to 22 accounts at once.
No, your personal information is safe. The only time your information would be shared is if we are working with an affiliate partner who is involved in the dispute process.
Yes, by raising your credit score, you are more likely to qualify for a home or car loan.
Yes. The 3 major credit reporting agencies are for-profit companies. They are privately owned and are in business to make money. Therefore, they are governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The CRA’s [Credit Reporting Agencies] must maintain accurate data, through research to identify that information about any given person is correct. They must also verify with physical proof any derogatory items on your credit reports.
This, as you might imagine, is a lot of work! Research on the CRA’s themselves reveals that up to 80% of their data is reported inaccurately. 80 %! There are other issues creating problems as well: duplication of reported items, erroneous reporting, and outdated information.
The CRA’s were put into place to maintain information about consumers: to be fair and accurate to the consumer. Yet, we’ve seen one negative item turn into a dozen negative entries!
Credit Girl PLUSS ensures that our customers receive a fair and accurate credit report. We teach corrective credit behavior [we don’t pretend it to be easy… but it is critical!] and help every one of our clients to reach their ultimate credit profile.
